Haven't done JDF. I need to figure out a slick way to glue them door frames to the skins. I also need to buy some aluminum to make the closeout panels. I got a feeling all this is going to have to wait until I finish my next customer build, which will probably be within the next two weeks.

Not very productive lately. I have been without a welder, so the last few days have been spent getting my tig welder up and running. I did, however, finish up a door frame. All I can say is, this is much harder in the garage without a fixture than it is at Shelby with all their tools!

I decided to do a little work today before I had to leave for work. I finished mounting the body by screwing it to the chassis. Now that the body is actually mounted, I am feeling better about the project. Here is a shot under the hood where you can see the #6 screws I used. I also trimmed the doors so I can start making the door frames. That'll have to wait until next week. I need to get an argon gas bottle for the TIG welder so I can go to town.

I spent a few hours today fitting the body. I ground on a couple welds, cut and moved a few tubes, etc. The body seems to be sitting down much better. Now I'll screw the body down and start making sheetmetal patterns for the interior close out panels.

I'm sorta getting Cobra-ed out. Too much working on other peoples cars.
